I use Ubuntu as well, and never had an issue playing any and all Windows games on it. Some may not have behaved or performed as well as on Windows, but if you're that bad with Windows it's likely not going to be a show stopper for you.

Yeah I can definitely imagine that being annoying. If ya can't find or fix the the network or config issue, no choice other than to disable it on all the clients.

On my personal Windows laptop, I use my Microsoft account (MFA'd). It makes things all around that way more convenient for me. To avoid passwords, and because I want that separated, I use Windows Hello (fingerprint or PIN). Then BitLocker (TPM 2.0+), and of course the BitLocker Startup PIN.

On my personal Linux laptop, basically the same thing as above, but SW level encryption.
I'm looking forward to trying Ubuntu's TPM-backed Full Disk Encryption soon! I haven't had time yet.

That's not what is being reported. The thing being discussed is violating the contract between the client and the vendor, for which @CCWTech is a legal representative. This is a business partner relationship and not reporting it would be a violation of the partnership.

Think of it like if you and a friend opened a cafe together. You own 90%, your partner owns 10%. A thief steals from you but only your partner witnesses it. They steal enough to qualify as grand theft (this isn't a petty situation like a candy bar or a coffee, this is more like someone stealing the espresso machine) and your partner knows about it. Would you be okay with your partner not telling you and not informing the accountants to write off the loss? Of course not, he'd be helping steal if he did. He has a business responsibility legally and ethically. You don't have to prosecute the thief if you decide not to, but you have a legal right to know that it happened and your accounting team needs that information for tax reasons and other data analytics.

try putting the switches in the 'arguments' field of the Action tab.

With the online account you get better integration to backup systems (OneDrive).which for a home user is a pretty important feature. Among other features.

If you simply don't want these features for.a home device, why bother with Windows 11 at all?

If not already, not a practical thing for a typical home buyer buying a new computer today, because Win 11 comes on the computer.

But you're right - those people likely are better off using those services than not. God know if they buy a mac they are buying into that ecosystem - if they buy a chromebook, they are buying into that ecosystem.... so it's not really any different.

None the less - not many home users are surfing ML - and those that are should be able to find answer like this.
